Qualification for this coverage requires third party audits by legal and insurance professionals of letters, website, company policies, and training procedures to insure FDCPA compliance.
Employee Certification
All collectors and employees must be certified as American Collectors Association ‘Professional Collectors’ within six months of date of employment - the shortest time frame possible for certification by the ACA. ‘Professional Collector’ certification requires six months of collection experience, on-site ACA training and passage of a written exam to demonstrate in-depth understanding of collection regulations (FDCPA).
